People that come into work sick

I took off yesterday 'cause I wasn't feeling too good so when I called my boss to tell her she sounded horrible herself. She told me she wouldn't be going in as well and that she was seeing a doctor. Now I worked with her on Monday and Tues.

Now there is a girl that works behind me too that was sick all last week. She came in Monday and Tuesday and told me she was on anibiotics which is fine but I still cringed everytime she sneezed and coughed behind me. We have open cubicles which sucks!

So I came in today and my boss is here. She told me she has an upper respitory infection and that she's on antibiotics.

I really want to get up and leave to hell with trying to save my days for maternity leave. I really don't want to get sick. I had to minimize this because my boss just came in a minute ago and I told her to stay away from me. I tried to be nice but whatever I don't care. They obviously don't.

Wouldn't this aggravate you?

I walked around for 9 months with purell wipes wiping down every piece of equipment other people touch. the copiers, the fax machines, the scanners, the phones for open use and if someone used my phone, it got sanitized immediately. I scrubbed my computer a lot, too. i would even give away my fancy pens and/or scrub those down! No one was offended, they didn't want me sick either. I would ban people from my office if they felt bad. I threatened to wear surgical masks.

People will still come in sick...mainly for the same reasons you are trying to save your time off, they want to save theirs. Unfortunately, this usually means the whole office gets it!

Would it aggravate me?????? Yes and no. Yes because like you I'm PG, but on the other hand, think back to how often you came to work when you were sick but didn't feel miserable enough to stay in bed all day.
