Sudden neck pain

I woke up today feeling okay, on my lunch break I went to the store, bent down to pick up sheets, and when I got up my neck hurt, like it does when you have a stiff neck. It hurts down the right back side and a little into that shoulder blade. Can a stiff neck come on suddenly like that? It almost feels like my neck/back needs to be cracked, and of course I read that is what a PE could feel like, so in my head this is a stroke. Love being a hypo....

I had neck pain for a week or two and finally it's subsiding I really think its from my pillow and the pain goes into my shoulder....it should go away and if it gets worse I would go to a dr....
