Those that have been to disney with young ones..

We are going with our 4 an 2 year old dd's.
We are unsure if we should do 4 nights or 5 nights. I think 5 nights bc they are so little I think we will have to space things out. And I'm not sure how much we will be able to do the first day bc of traveling..
My dh says 4 night is plenty of time and think they will be "done" by day 5 anyway..

Opinions??

I think 4 nights is fine if you're kids can be on the go all day. 5 would e better if you want to be slightly more leisurely.

I say 5 nights. Our first trip DS1 was 22months and it was 4nights, I really wished on day 5 we had 1 more night. We took breaks each afternoon (except the last day) so that DS could nap, so we lost over 2 hours per day of activity time.

Plus if you are really "done" by night 4 like DH suggests, enjoy the pool, go to downtown disney, etc.

We are going this year with a 5yo and 2yo and we are doing 4nights, 3 days but thats because we are just throwing in some WDW time before a cruise. otherwise I would have booked longer. IMO the longer you have there to enjoy the things you want, the more relaxing the trip is because you dont feel rushed.

my kids were 4 and 2 yr old twins when we went. We went for 7 nights and it was exhausting. We also rushed through some stuff. IF you can go for longer, I would.

We just went in January with our 2yo DS. I would definitely do 5 nights. We originally planned our trip for 4 nights and extended our stay by 2 days once we were there bc we were having such an amazing time!

We just went with a 1 1/2 and 3 yo. We wanted to do every park so imo 4 nights is not enough if you want to do it leisurely- we did 5 but should have done 6. . It was NOT exhausting imo bc of PLANNING. That's the key with young kids.

If you want to accomplish more, stay longer. If you don't care what you accomplish and want it to be quick, stay shorter. We went for 7 days and 6 nigths with a 3.5 yo and we ran out of time. A bunch of things we never made it to, after being busy all day everyday!

I would do five nights. There's so much to see and do.

We did miss a lot of things I thought DS would enjoy but, I rationalized it as he had a blast and he didn't realize that there was more.
