Prenatals
For my first pregnancy I took my rx prenatals but I remember them being expensive. I was curious what you're all taking now. Thanks!

I take my own vitamins... when I can actually stomach them. They are meant to be gentler on the stomach that those hard horse pills and actually offer more benefits. I got them online.
I remember when I last went for a check-up and told the OB of my plan to stop the pill, he recommended Simulac pre-natals and one other... can't think of them right now.

i take the target brand prenatals, has the same vits as the Rx ones.

I'm taking a chewable prescription one. They are quite expensive and when I mentioned that to the nurse they gave me a two month supply of free samples and told me to just let them know when I run out!

When I was pregnant I took a prescription, Citranatal which was pretty good on the stomach. It is expensive though

Nature Made brand... it's the only one I've found that hasn't bothered my stomach or had an aftertaste.

I've been taking Rainbow Light Prenatal One. Got it at CVS, no problems so far.

This. They are awesome. It's mail order. Dr gives me a code and I call. They are reasonable too and the order is for 3 mos or so.

My doctor told me he wanted me on the RX one because of the higher levels of something in it - I forget what it was, iron? Folic acid? Bah, I forget, but he said that the RX one he gave me has a higher level of something he feels is important for me to have and wanted me on that vs. something from the store. So, that's what I'm on - I think it's OB Complete, it is just one pill but it's like a horse pill

Thorne Research basic prenatal, it has the purest forms of vitamins, which is very important for me. I have an issue with synthetic ingredients, and the forms they use are in their natural/broken down form.
