Uterine Irritability?
So I ended up at the doctor's office today because I was having period like cramping. I am 34 weeks and I have never felt that before so I got a bit nervous. They hooked me up to the machine and determined that my uterus is irritable. (which I made tons of jokes about since the end of pregnancy seems to cause EVERYTHING to be irritiable! lol) Anyway, has anyone else ever had this? He mentioned taking me out of work but said at this point he will wait. He said at 34 weeks they won't stop labor so they didn't give me any meds or anything like that. He said my cervix is closed but thinning. I am just unclear as to what all of this means. Any advice would be awesome!

no idea, bu tI think mine is irritable as well! haha! Last week at 32 weeks I was in L&D with contractions....super fun!!! If they aren't worried than don't be either....I'm sure everything will work out!

It's not regular contractions. I didn't even realize it was happening to be honest! Just thought I had cramps! The doc I saw was just very unclear about all of it!
