recommend your reasonable sunglasses
I recently had lasik done & now find myself squinting in my old sunglasses. I use to only buy cheaper glasses but think its time to splurge. Not looking to spend more then $110.
Where is the best place to get them?

Re: recommend your reasonable sunglasses
Go to Sunglasses Hut (I usually get a coupon in the mail) & try some on. I would get polarized. I LOVE my Maui Jim's and some are within your price range. I recently got a pair of Fendi's from Nordstrom Rack for $50 from $280 but they're not polarized. I also like a little bit of a wrap or curved shape so the sun won't shine in from the side.

Try Off Fifth in either Deer Park or Riverhead, I have found amazing deals, and they have many designers to choose from.
Also, they have coupon every now and then, too!

If you don't want to spend a ton of money, keep checking Marshalls. I've been seeing a lot of Coach and other name brands there. This time of year they really stock them up.

If you like Aviators, I have a pair of Ralph Lauren ones from Bloomingdales. They always have them in stock and are less than $100

I love Maui Jim's too! I have learned that for sunglasses "designer" glasses do not provide the same level of sun protection as sun glasses made by companies that specialize in making sunglasses.

Actually, the designer eyeglasses are not made by the designer house. There are two major eyewear companies that manufacture and sell/market most of the eyewear for the designers. They all license out their brand to eyewear manufacturers and I mean the BIG BIG designers.

In my experience the quality of the lenses is not the same-I had a beautiful pair of Big name designer sunglasses last summer and they were just OK--I returned them and went back to Maui Jim's.
