Gotta love opinions
Fun things I heard yesterday from extended family -
"wow, are you sure there's only one in there?"
"you need to be careful, you still have 2 months to go!"
"are you really going to continue eating?"
"fatso"
I guess everyone forgets that I'm 8 months pregnant and I use to be the thin one

"fatso" OMG im hoping that person was joking with you- even if they weren't thats RUDE & so is the "are you going to continue eating?" one.. WTH is wrong with ppl...no your gonna STOP eating till you give birth and get the weight off.. sorry but thats just being an idiot.

I was upset about it. I know I gained weight above and beyond the baby, but it is what it is...I don't think I look bad at all

oh my goodness, people really are clueless sometimes. "fatso" wow, that's really crossing the line.
next time someone says something along those lines, look at them funny and say, "what's your excuse"?

oh god! sorry this was the case yesterday I got told if I swallowed a peanut or if my pregnancy was hidden in my ass since my belly is tiny and i'm 5 months uggh

I HATE when people say stuff that is so insensitive. I started going back at people. My sister is an OB and keeps saying "OMG, how far along are you?" and poking my stomach. I started poking hers and saying..."apparently the same as you". DH's little cousin (he's 11 and I call him the devil because he seriously is one of the worst kids on earth) calls me "fat" every time I see him. Even at 11 (you really have to know this kid though to understand why I say this) I always say "I'm pregnant, not fat. It's a shame that I'll be able to lose the weight but you'll always be ugly." I know it's mean for an 11 year old but this is one of those types of kids that curses out his parents and has been since he was 6 years old.
Start going back at people...well not everyone but def family. My dad mentioned that I was starting to waddle (I do at night because I'm just too tired and feel huge). I asked him what his excuse was.
And most importantly remember this is only temporary and you will be the skinny one again soon enough. Then people will be saying "OMG! You look amazing already!!"

Thanks everyone I'm trying to be the better person and not go back at anyone, but its def starting to get to me. Thankfully my DH LOVES my pregnant body and is very supportive when I'm getting down on myself

I will never forget when I was pregnant the first time and I was at my DH's grandma's wake, one of the mourners looked at me and called me fat. I told her I was 9 months pregnant and she said, "Well you're still fat!" I will NEVER forget it. People have no filter!
