Office Issues
So I started with a new office a month ago and unfortunately I had to cancel my IUI because of too many follies. That afternoon they called me with my blood work results and told me to go down to a lower dose of the injectables. I knew this was wrong and told them to have the doctor call me. He did and told me it was a mistake and not to take any more this cycle. Then yesterday I have a voice message at home saying I missed my appt that morning. Again I call and they tell me they were mistaken. I then did read on here that a poster took an injection class. I was offered no class and instead searched you tube for instructions. I am having doubts about this place as it seems they are completely disorganized. Nervous to have to do a semen drop.
Just a vent.

Where are you going now? That's terrible. As if you need additional stress right now. The next time you go in I would communicate this to a manager/head nurse/doctor!

Re: Office Issues
I'm going to address this when I go in next. I told Dh and he said that this is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The practice makes me nervous especially when it has come so highly recommended.

Re: Office Issues
I'm so sorry you have to deal with that :( My RE makes you take a class before you start the injectables but not all offices do. I agree with prev posted, discuss what happened with office manager as well as RE. It is important you feel comfortable with your RE office, and you can trust their competence. Everyone makes mistakes, and I hope this was an isolated incidence, but I would be a little concerned if it happened to me also. Best of luck!

That's just it. I believe I have the same RE in the same office as you do. Why aren't they treating everyone the same. I do hope this was an isolated incident.

Goldie's office is 100% more organized than mine (mineola) and I never had that happen to me. I hope it was just a freak isolated incident! I know both offices are CRAZY busy with transfers the last few weeks.. Many women start seeing a RE in Jan so March and April are usually mahem with new IVF/IUI cases. Stay on top of everything- I am always questioning things and you should be proactive!
