At what age/ months do you
Replace bottles with babyfood?Dc#2 is 5 &1/2 mths old and we have started solids since 4mths. This is my second child and I have forgotten everything
He drinks 6.5 oz 4/5x per day and we feed fruits in the morning and veggies in the afternoon.

I'm not sure what you're asking. Babies need breastmilk/formula until age 1. So until then, you aren't replacing bottles, since it is theirain source of nutrition. Baby food is merely for practice under a year. HTH!

Not sure if this is what you mean but we started at 4 months with cereal in the morning followed by the bottle then at 5 months we added 1 jar of baby food for lunch followed with a bottle and now at 6 months added 1 jar of baby food for dinner followed by a bottle.

thank you for your answers... the reason for my question it's because DC#2 is not the best eater and I find that when I give him solids he really doesnt want the bottle that much after. He is a very distracted eater and needs a lot of coaxing to drink his bottle. he loves solids and eats it with no problem it's the bottle feedings that are not great. i vaguely remember with my first DC he ate everything no problem.. 8oz every 3hrs and gobbled up his babyfood too.

Do you feed your dc solids in btwn bottles or with bottles? Bc dc would prefer solids over bottles I feed him in btwn. So far it's sort of working...

8am bottle
1030a solids
1230p bottle
430p bottle
530p solids
730p bottle
I want to get rid of a bottle and feed lunch but she's on SUCH a schedule I don't want to muck it up.

LO is almost 9 months and his current schedule is:
7am- 7/8 oz bottle
10am & 1pm- 1/2 jar of fruit and bottle (he usually will only finish about 4-5 oz)
4pm- 1/2 container of yogurt and bottle (usually 4-5 oz)
7pm- 1/2 jar or more of dinner, lately its been something like veg turkey dinner, chicken noodle soup, earth's best or gerber
8pm- 6-7oz bottle.
8:30- bed.
ETA: Just realized I didn't come close to answering your question lol....According to our Dr. he is going to get bottles (formula) until he is 1 and then we will start transitioning into straight milk... we have started giving him a sippy cup at night with a couple of oz of water in it just for him to start to get used to it.

I should add that I'm not looking to get rid of all bottles just maybe one? I think with dc#1 by the age of 1 he was down to 3 morning, lunch and bedtime bottle. This stinks I wish I wrote down everything from my first dc!!!
