Follicles While on Clomid

I am on 150 mg Clomid. Each month I have only one follicle. I understand risks associated with tfollicles, but am just pissed because there's only one follie, so I feel like my odds are reduced (compared to other ladies who have a number of follies). I'm bummed that the clomid is not making me produce more, to boost up the odds of success.

Does this make sense? Know what i mean?

Anything I could do to boost follie production? Supplements etc.? Open to ideas.

I am on 100 and only produce 2 follies. I feel your pain. Last month on 100 I only had 1 mature and 2 tiny ones. This month I am close to 2 mature. One is still just shy. Hope it catches up before I surge

If you find out how to increase follies please share!(I'm thinking there is no real way)

I've always only had one lead follicle, and then usually 1-2 that are right around the maybe mature/maybe not.

Both times, i was mad/disappointed that i only had 1 - but that's all you need!! And both times it worked.

I went this morning (CD 13) and i'm on 50mg clomid. I had a 21.5 and then a 16 and 15. I dont think the 2 smaller ones will be any good so once again i found myself being disappointed. I then had to remind myself it only takes 1!! It's so hard not to be frustrated!

Clomid is supposed to only produce 1 or a few good follicles. Did you take it days 3-7 or 5-9? Some people say 3-7 might help with getting more follicles. The injectible drugs are the way to go for getting multiple follicles.

My friend Gina has said the same thing re: injectables. I guess I will push for that next month.

I am glad I am not alone in feeling frustrated by this.

I had the same issue on clomid, no matter what dosage I tried. I took it CD3-CD7. I did 3 IUI with clomid then moved on to injectables last month, and I had 2 or 3 2cm follicles and a few small ones. I don't think there are any supplements or anything. It's annoying, I know. But hey, they say it only takes one right

Each person is different and Clomid does not work for soem people. Have you discussed other options with your Dr.

My first cycle on CLomid I had 3 and the second on the same exact dose I only had one. So each cycle can be different too.

I was on 150 mg of Clomid and produced one follie on each side. I had my IUI done and we got pregnant. Like a PP said, all you need is one. My SIL had 8 follies one cycle and her RE was hesitant to do the IUI, but they did it anyway and she did not get pregnant that time.

My two girls are both from one follie cycles. It only takes one good one to create a miracle! Good Luck!

Talk to your RE about moving on to injectables. I did clomid and only ever got 1 follie (and massive migraines!). Then moved onto injectables and had 3 follies...which lead to my beautiful DS.
