At what age did your DC roll over?

DD is almost 6 months and has no interest in doing this. I know all babies are different. She does get tummy time and has very strong neck and back support. She can sit up but doesn't have good balance yet so if you let go of her hands she will topple over Did you do anything to encourage your DC to roll?

my DS rolled over at 20 weeks (so I guess 5 months?) but only from back to belly. He recently started to roll from belly to back as well. I found he rolled better on his playmat/gym thing. As far as sitting, he can sit unassisted for a few seconds but still topples over. I wouldn't worry, every baby is different!

ETA he is 6 months now

At what age did your DC roll over?

DD rolled back to belly maybe around 4 months. At 6 months she finally rolled to her back, but it was only for maybe a week. Since then, she stopped rolling altogether. She's now 10 months and I can't remember the last time she rolled either way. She sat at 5 months and recently started cruising but she doesn't pull up or crawl. Her ped said she should find some way of moving by a year but otherwise not to worry.

My DD is VERY active, and has wanted to move since she came out of the womb. She rolled from tummy to back at 2.5 weeks (there's a post on here somewhere where I'm freaking out about that), and from back to tummy a day shy of 4 months.

DS rolled from belly to back at 5 1/2 months. He's close to rolling back to belly and he's 6 months. He hasn't done it yet.

I notice if there is a toy he likes just out of his reach he'll get closer to getting on his belly but his hand always gets stuck underneath him.

Both of my girls rolled (back to belly) at 4 mos.

DS rolled from belly to back (which i thought was the easier one) at just a few weeks old. right now he is allllmost rolling from back to bell, he is 5 mos old.

he can sit up when put in that position.

DD1 was around 6 month, a little older I think
DS was 5 months
DD2 was 2 weeks old (thought it was a fluke but she did it a bunch)

DS at 3 months consistently, DD at 5 months consistently. DS did it once as a fluke much earlier.

Belly to back around 5 weeks (I also thought it was a fluke like crankypants but he kept doing it)
He's 3 months now but hasn't done back to belly yet.

DD 1- 5 months
DD 2- 3.5 months
DD 3- 6 months.

They all take their own time to do it.

Dd turned 2 months old this week and has rolled tummy to back a few times this week. But she is super light 9.5 lbs) so I think that makes it easier for now!

she rolled over from belly to back at 4 months old.
she sat up independently without support starting at 5 months old.
still hasn't rolled from back to tummy though.

This makes me feel better! According to our PED DD is excelled in other areas and I truly believe her demeanor is much like DH's and will take her sweet time with this. To me she is being lazy She grabs her feet all day long and when she tips to the side she pulls herself right onto her back. Maybe she is afraid? I don't know. On her belly she does this superman pose for several minutes.
