Dude.

Boxes.

Still all over the place.

My office? Lucky I unpacked my computer.

Kitchn? seriously? Have half the stuff still in boxes.

Basement? Dont get me started.

Make me feel better. Make me feel I'm not worthless because we are still not unpacked.

We just unpacked the last two boxes that were in a closet about 4 months ago-we've been in our house 4 years. So, I think you're fine. Do one room at a time, you'll get there.Chat Icon

We've been in our new house since late November...and only about 1/3 way through our boxes...so that's about right Chat Icon

Don't stress it, just one or two boxes at a time, it will get done eventually! Chat Icon

We moved in November 2011. My garage is still full of boxes. 2 rooms are storage for bins of stuff that doesn't fit in the garage because of the boxes. You are definitely not alone.

We moved out 2 years ago this month and back in 2 years ago in April.

I just started hanging things back up on the walls in December and still have numerous boxes to unpack (but, they are in the basement - out of sight, out of mind).

Been here 2 years and there are two rooms still full of boxes, three rooms that haven't been painted and still filthy and grungy feeling. We just don't go in there. Outta sight, outta mind. I told my husband we should just toss what's not unpacked. If we haven't used it in 2 years, we don't need it

You have all made me feel better.

Especially since the same 4 boxes are at the top of the stairs..that have been there.

W had guests last July. They came agan in December. Commented on the same 4 boxes being at the top of the stairs (they are dear friends and were joking).

Thank you all.

Two years + here and loads of boxes UNPACKED. Mostly stuff I clearly dont need...just a few mths back we unpacked office boxes, and just put the stuff in to clear crates. Looks better than boxes. But I just dont have time to organize my office area yet.

You are not alone.

We're in our house for well over a year and our basement is still full of boxes. Every once in a while when I'm down there I discover some long lost thing and wonder what else is hiding down there that I'm missing!

We have been here for a year as well. Our "office" room - i.e. the fourth bedroom has now become a storage room for all the boxes Chat Icon Chat Icon as well as the unfinished part of our basement AND the second half of our garage Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon I do feel a lot of a shame about it Chat Icon But - the old adage holds true...out of sight out of mind! For me I have no storage space, no basement, so my shame is all out in the open Chat Icon

Re: Owned my house for about a year? Make me feel better I havn't completly unpacked.

Don't feel bad. We are in our house a year and I only have about 1/2 boxes unpacked. We have our attic and garage still filled with things that need to be put away

My kitchen is only half done (we JUST painted last weekend and still have no backsplash or moldings lol)

I have no pictures/paintings on the wall.

It will get done eventually lol
