When I had Tommy in 2009, C-Section, 5 day stay in the hospital, our insurance covered all but our $1000 deductible. I have the same carrier now (UHC) but at a different job so I am actually scared to look...I really should look at the plan summary....

I paid nothing out of pocket for each birth. Doctor and hospital were in network.

We had to meet a $3k deductible. The anesthesiologist alone was a $1k.

I paid a 20 copay. That's it I never saw a bill. I have nslijhs insurance and delivered there as well.
Me too! And I also paid $40 for TV and phone service...
Well, not completely. They sent me a bill for thousands of dollars because apparently DS was not covered under my insurance according to them. Don't even get me started on that. After flipping out on some stupid billing dept personnel the end result was: free.
But now I'm under DHs insurance so who knows when it's time for #2...

My insurance required a $300 copay for the hospital stay. That was all.

It depends on ins. I paid $250. Then I got some bills for the girls from the hospital which I thought was odd since it was from my ped and the hospital dr. I'm still trying to figure it out since one went through my ins and they have DHs ins. It was under $200 though.

When I had DS in 2010, I only had a $150 hospital copay.
DH's job changed health plans as of 1/1/12 so when DD was born on 1/24, when all was said and done we owed $8K (due to high deductible/coinsurance) >:(

Me too, but Beth and I have the same insurance.
However with Aa, they tried to make me pay a $200 because we never called the Ins Co to let them know we were admitted to the hospital.
Must have slipped my mind

it was 3,000. which i blew through extra visits due to gest. diab. and prior preeclampsia risk then i pay 10% for another 3k( so bills were 30k........ which I blew through a vaginal delivery - no epi, no nicu.
when ds was born and nicu 10day I remember bills around 50k from hospital. luckily I had 0 copay on him as first

Wow, guess I cant complain much.
For me it was $1000
$200 for delivery
$750 for hospital stay
