how bad are PB wool rugs?
there is an area rug i really like for the baby's room but I've heard about how PB wool rugs shed a lot.
this is the one im looking at:
PB Rug
anyone have experience with their rugs?
or has anyone seen one similar that is maybe not wool?

What a nice looking rug! I have one of their wool rugs in my living room and another one in a hallway. They do shed a lot, but it doesn't bother me that much because I have a huge dog and have to vacuum often anyway. Also I've had these rugs for 4 months and they are still shedding like crazy.

We have two of them, one is close to two years old. I never noticed an issue with shedding from either one. I don't know if we're really lucky or what since others seem to have issues. The rugs are totally different too, one is in our living room the other in DD's room and both are fine.

We have one that shed a bit in the beginning but has been fine ever since. My crate and barrel one shed more. For any new rug, I'd vacuum it daily to help speed it along.

how bad are PB wool rugs?
I hate the sailboat one in my DS's nursery and I love it. It doesn't shed at all.

I have one PB wool rug and it's beautiful but in the beginning it shed A LOT. Like tumbleweeds rolling around the room if I didn't vacuum every day. It took a good six months to a year but now there is hardly any shedding at all.

I had a one which I vacuumed the heck out of it and it was so horrible as far as shedding I eventually had to return it. It was in a baby's room and I was too afraid of the the shedding and a baby's breathing, laying on it, etc. I did buy another for my son's room (when he was 2.5 and now 8)and it drove me crazy for shedding but it did eventually calm down after \many, many months and lots and lots of vacumming. I mean everyday vcumming - in different directions.....Never went back for other rugs and won't.

I had one in my DS's nursery and threw it out 2 years later. Worst rug ever.

Same here! We have one in our room and one in DD's. No issues at all.
