Ok heres the back-story...
I had a miscarriage in August and then from Sept - Nov my periods came every 32 days. Before I got pregnant I was irregular but they were usually longer cycles.
I had surgery on 12/13 and bled lightly for 3 days after the surgery and then it stopped for a day... and then all of a sudden I started bleeding heavily. So I thought I got my period- which wasn't due for another week... and then it stopped. So I didnt know if the bleeding was actually my period or just from the surgery... but then I stopped bleeding after about 5 days so I am guessing that it was definitely a period, which means my cycle was only like 26 days.
If my cycle was normal I would have ovulated around 1/7, but since it was early I started taking ovulation tests on 1/4... the ones where the line is supposed to be as dark or darker than the test line- but it was ALWAYS lighter... so its very possible that I ovulated BEFORE 1/4...
I am all out of whack... I told myself I wasn't going to take a HPT until at least next weekend but I was bored and I have been feeling nauseous and emotional and breaking out and boobs are sore- and I had one left over from the summer so I thought WHY NOT! I can always buy more in a week.
It was negative... and then I came back 2 hours later and it was positive. I know they say that you can't trust that, but of course I am still freaking out.
I am still so early and its PROBABLY an evap line but I see that line and it makes me giddy!!!
************UPDATE************
Took a FRER test this morning and it was negative. There is a reason they say to THROW OUT the test after 10 minutes! Damn you blue dye evap lines!

That definetly looks positive. I would wait till tom am or wake up in the middle of the night (i would lol) n test again... Good luck!

Don't mean to be a downer, but it looks like those evil blue dye evaps...I have taken those in the past and had that exact line 2 diff times when i was not pg. They always appear after the time frame and one side of the line is thicker, while the other side isn't....
You MAY be pregnant of course!! You can't rule it out, but I would buy a FRER or answer pink dye and go from there...good luck to you!

Get a FRER and retest!! Looks pos but those blue dye tests are super unreliable after the said time frame. I'm excited for you!!!!!

Even if I did ovulate early, its still too early to tell... I have been sitting here with a calculator and a calendar and I definitely have all my dates mixed up but I THINK I could be anywhere from 7-12 DPO... so maybe I wait like 3 days rather than waste more money too early.

If you can hold out a few more day that would be great. I know it's hard! When you retest, def get a FRER. Lots of baby dust!!!

Use FRER with first morning urine. Results should be read in the first 5 minutes of testing reading a test any later especially 2 hours is usually an evaporation.

Thanks ladies! I am going to wait a little while. You cant help but get excited when you see something like that, but there is a reason they say to THROW OUT the test after 20 min!! I really really could use some good news in my life but I dont want false hope.

When are you retesting? Mid week? Soonest I can test is next weekend. This week will be HARD lol. Def hold out for a few more days and go with FMU.

UPDATE: Took a test this morning FRER and it was negative :(
But I'm not out yet... if I am back on the 32-day cycle and ovulated later I am not supposed to get AF until 1/21. But I am not getting my hopes up
