Postpartum Periods

So this is my 3rd since DD was born. First was not bad, 2nd was pretty light and this time, holy lord! It's like I just gave birth! I am bleeding through tampons in 2 hours or less! It was like this all day yesterday and continues today. At what point do I become concerned? I feel OK. Mild cramping, but that's about all. I feel a little off today, but I think I am getting sick. Everyone else in the house had it, so why not me too.

Me too! my sister said if it lasts more than 2 days (bleeding through pads and super tampons) to contact the OB. after the first day mine became super light.

Re: Postpartum Periods

Still pretty heavey - maybe not quite as bad as yesterday, but still super heavy. Planning on calling doctor tomorrow if it keeps up. Otherwise, I feel completely fine.

Re: Postpartum Periods

I had the same thing happen to me (tmi) the only way I can explain it was it looked like I killed ssomeone. It was even worse than post birth in the hospital. On the 3rd month I called the Gyn and they said totally normal it should lessen in the next month or so. If it continued to be bad like that to call back. Luckily its been much better. But I know what you mean I wore tampon and a pad for fear I was hemorrhaging. Oh the joys..btw no one ever told me about that part of it

Postpartum Periods

Since I had DD more than a year and a half ago my periods have been unreal. I expect the CSI unit to follow me around or something because it's just crazy. I loathe my time of the month and try to not even leave the house because of possible "leaks".

Re: Postpartum Periods

Thank you for making me feel a little more "normal"....it's like where the hell is this all coming from! I guess I won't worry, I will just see it as a nuisance! Hoping it let's up a little soon!
