Baby movement question... just out of curiosity

How often does your baby move and does he/she have a schedule?

I am 30w3d and for the past few weeks this kid has kept no schedule whatsoever! He moves a lot but never at the same times and defintely different from before. Instead of the rolling, bubbling, fluttering and popping we are in the stage of elbows, hands and feet just pressing outward. More often than not there is a random baby part looking like it is trying to poke its way out of my belly. He also likes to jam his foot or hand in my hip bone region. We will still get the occasional rapid bubbling movement but they happen less frequently. How about your LO???

This will definitely be the thing I miss most about being pregnant. Chat Icon

my DD is busier in the afternoon and early evening. She really gets going after dinner and is typically more quiet after 10/11.

I do feel her much more frequently than I did my son (I feel like she never stops).

Some days are more quiet than others at 34w.

No real schedule; but I can feel LO move at all different times of the day; first thing in the morning; the afternoon; lots in the evening. I feel hiccups at least twice a day too.

my LO has no set schedule but i feel her randomly moving around whenever she feels like it.
since i have an anterior placenta - i never got to see random body parts looking they were were trying to pop out ofmy belly - whichi wish i could have gotten to see. its also preventing DH from feeling LO as well =0(

She seems to have some sort of schedule. She is active super early in the morning.....and then not so much during the day. At times she is...but I am usually so busy I don't notice unless it is a really strong jab and poke. She gets really active around 4-5 once I get home and start to relax. And she usually gets the hiccups daily around then as well. She is def more active in the evening though...and now those flutters and poke are stabs, kicks, and jabs. Looks like there is an alien in there. lol.

My LO is always active at around 6am and beginning at 8:30pm. I'll also feel him a lot during the day, but not in any pattern I've noticed. And he gets the hiccups 2-3 times a day.

As for feeling different movements - that's totally normal! At 30w, the baby is starting to run out of room so you'll feel fewer kicks and more of the smaller movements.

I agree that I'll miss feeling these movements after the baby is born. But I won't miss the heartburn or shortness of breath!

My DD has no schedule. I feel her move as soon as I get up and when I am driving to work. Throughout my work day she moves on and off all day. She is very active after 7 at night I find. She's a pretty active girl.

my little girl is pretty active in the morning, and night and after i eat. as much as i love feeling it, she's so big now, that it's actually rather uncomfortable and takes my breath away at times.
