need some opinions from OPK experts (esp if you have PCOS)
im not TTC but i track my cycle as birth control. i have PCOS and had extremely irregular cycles before conceiving my 18m old DD via IVF. since getting AF back post partum my cycles have regulated and have been 29-35 days. most cycles OPKs never used to work for me because i had high LH as part of PCOS, but post partum they seem to work - i get a + for 2 or 3 days only then a clear negative. I ovulate on the later side, around CD22-24 and usually have a 10 day LP. at first the LP was 9 days but it has been 10 the last 5 cycles or so.
all of that being said, this cycle was just strange. i started getting EWCM normal time for me, around CD16. i didn't get a plus OPK until CD22 which seemed a little late but i was still getting some EWCM so i thought nothing of it. i had what i associate with O pains on CD24. but i continued to get +OPKs from CD22 through CD26. then i stopped testing for a few days and just tested again to make sure it had gone negative (which it had by CD29). i do think I ovulated on CD24. prior to having DD i would get days and days of +OPKs that would not result in ovulation. that's how i knew i had a problem and sought the help of an RE.
anyway so this cycle was the first time i had 5 days of +OPKs again. i do think i ovulated. however today, CD31, which could be anywhere between 6-10DPO, i got AF. its not even spotting, its def seems like day 1 AF complete with cramping. i know there is no way to pinpoint ovulation if im not temping but i was wondering if anyone continued to have +OPKs after ovulation (esp PCOS ladies). i know its possible i didnt ovulate but in prior anovulatory cycles i never bled - the cycle would just go on either indefinitely or until i eventually would ovulate. im guessing i did ovulate this time but my LH is a bit higher than it has been, i have some other PCOS-ish symptoms that haven't reared their ugly head in a while either...
not sure exactly what my question is here, its just a very strange cycle, although with PCOS a "normal" cycle tends to be more strange

I'm not really sure about the positive opks, but I have anovulatory cycles and still get a period. i have had 50 day cycles, but I usually have 35-40 days cycles. So it is possible to get AF without Oing. When I get AF it is a full bleed cramping and all. This was how my cycles were before getting pregnant. We will see what happens PP.

I temp and I've had anovulatory cycles where I did get my period. My period was usually a few days late but was a normal period. With opk's I usually only get 1 :) but I don't have pcos.
