Two Smiley faces a week apart?
Hi Ladies...
For the past few months, my cycles have been 28 days, but last month, I got AF on CD 23. I looked up time frames I would be ovulating and started testing with OPK on CD 7 and got a smiley on CD 8. DH and I BD that day, and the next couple of days... Since I had some symptoms like I was ovulating (cramping, sore boobs) etc. I took another OPK this morning and got another smiley face-today is CD 15? Both of the ovulation calendars I used said I would be ovulating a day this week with a 28 day cycle, but I was trying to cover all my bases in case this month would be a 23-day cycle. Hope that makes sense...
Is it possible to get two smiley faces, or maybe the stick I used is defective? Has anyone had this happen?
TIA and good luck to all!

Re: Two Smiley faces a week apart?
No... I don't have pcos... In the past year I've had three losses (making it four total) and found out I had a slightly under active thyroid which I take meds for now- I also had uterine surgery in August.
Is this something that would be affected by new thyroid medication? I am not sure if I should call the dr?
Thanks!

Also- I had a whole work-up, assuming that would have caught that right?

Re: Two Smiley faces a week apart?
Is it possible that you're pregnant? You should not get +OPKs a week apart, and I doubt that thyroid issues would cause that - thought I don't know that for sure.
If you can rule out pregnancy, I'd definitely talk to your dr. You should only have a surge once per month, when you are ovulating. And if this was a smiley face test, they are more accurate than a line test.
Are you under the care of an RE?
