Two places we ate at this week-PSA
We finally tried Buteras..the one in Woodbury. Very impressed..we had the mussels to start and I had the linguine and white clams..DH had some brocolli rabe and rigatoni dish with chicken meatballs..very good. Ordered a bottle of Kunde estates Cab..good choice.
Last night we went to Vincents. Had the mussels to start and I had tortolloni and ham and peas with some shrimp and DH had Baked Ziti with a meatball..That place is a zoo! If Buteras and Vincents ever had a fight..Buteras would win. Food was good but not great..I know lots of people like Vincents but if I had a choice I would go to Buteras..

i really like both of those places but you are right, vincents is crazy, that is why we always go to dinner there late to avoid the crowd.

worth going..they have two locations..one in Woodbury and Massapequa. Really great..we'll be back.

Love the Butera's in Woodbury. I work right by there and live a few minutes north, so we frequent it a lot!

i love Vincents (we usually go for lunch to avoid teh crowds).. but never tried Buteras... is the pricing similar?

Butera's is a little more but I think it's worth it because the food is better than Vincents.
I think the food at Vincents is good, JMO that Butera's is better.

My brother LOVES Vincent's. He used to love to take dates there.
Funny thing is he also used to love to go with a guy friend so they could just stuff their faces

I used to work here and it is really good!! The people that own it are sooo nice and it is beyond clean. I always recommend it to people. The Massapequa ones are great too.
