Teachers...or anyone who works with children
When did you tell the kids you were pregnant. I'm just about 6 months and big as a house. Feel like it's time, but not sure. What did you all do?

I'm five. I have middle school kids (not sure the age of yours). I honestly can't imagine announcing it to them, so I'm waiting for them to ask. They're not shy either, so it's bound to happen.

Re: Teachers...or anyone who works with children
I work with special Ed kids so I didn't make an announcement, if they ask I tell. I am 21 weeks and just yesterday a kid stopped me in the hallway and said "hey you have a fat belly, I hope there is a baby in there"

Re: Teachers...or anyone who works with children
With my first, I told them around 20 weeks. With my second, I let them speculate until someone asked me point blank. I was 23 weeks when one of them finally worked up the nerve

I never really announced it...some of the girls noticed, they asked and I confirmed, they are in middle school so it was easy. If I were an elementary school teacher I would announce it around now since you are showing.

I teach first graders and my principal said I could tell them at I think it was 21 weeks. It was so cute because they were soooo excited.

I teach high school and I told them at 15 weeks. But, I work in jail and it's a safety hazard for them not to know just in case a huge fight breaks out in my room. They've been very protective. Last week a fight broke out and half my kids surrounded me so if it got to me before the COs broke it up they could block me and push the kids away. It was scary, but cute at the same time!

I teach HS... I enjoyed watching them whisper about it and try to figure it out!
