Anyone ever ship cookies?

My parents unexpectedly left for Florida this morning (trying to beat the storm) and I didn't get to make my Dad his batch of oatmeal raisin cookies that he loves.

Once they get settled, I want to send down a batch but I've never done this before. Does anyone know the best way to do this?

Maybe I should undercook them a little so they don't go stale too quick? Any tips on how I should wrap them?

I would go to Michael's and get a tin to ship them in. Wrap the cookies in tissue paper and make sure to pack the tin so they don't move around too much. Then you can just put it in a bubble envelope and send.

If you put a slice of bread in the container with the cookies, it keeps them moist and chewy!
