How long does it take for furniture to ship???
I just ordered our dream bed from Fortunoff's and it isn't expected to ship until October. DH wants me to cancel the order. (we are moving into our new house on Labor Day weekend, so he wants the bed there by the time we get there) - I'm trying to tell him almost all large pieces of furniture take a long time to ship, hence why we are ordering it now...
Do you all agree, or is there some place that could ship a bed in less than a month?

our couch took 8 weeks. so Oct sounds about right to me.

We're in NJ too, and we just ordered our entire bedroom set from Raymour and Flannigan, they have 3 day delivery or you can specify when you want it delivered. Ours is being delivered in two weeks.
They have really nice stuff, we shopped all over the place and ended up going back to Raymour and Flannigan for our set.
Oh and as a side note, we've been in the house just about a year and have only had a bed in the bedroom, just a matress and boxspring on the frame.

If you want something asap my store is having a huge sale starting Aug 17 and the prices will be really amazing. FM me if you are interested, we are very high end. And your ship date is right for a special order piece. Most take about 6-12 weeks. The only time you will get it faster is if its an in stock piece.

if you buy from crate and barrel its like a week
it really depends on the store an the quantity that is avail.
8 weeks is not bad. i ordered an ottoman once and it took about 5 months
