Eyeshadow- what's your go to color?
I want to start wearing eyeshadow to work and I need some inspiration so I can build up a collection of colors. What does everyone wear to work and what do you like for evening?

I always wear a creamy beige base, and sometimes will add some purple for everyday.
Night time/going out I might go smoky with purple/greys or add some glittery copper/gold/bronzes.

i always use a matte bone color and then add a dark brown or purple to the outer corners

Eyeshadow- what's your go to color?
I use most colors on the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette with the exception of the black and sparkly bronze - applied with a light hand. They always look great.

Usually a lavender color - Make Up Forever's Aqua Cream, with a darker Sephora purple eyeshadow in the crease or gray. I like the cream eyeshadows from MUF because they're shimmery.
If I'm actually wearing purple clothes, I use the Naked 2 palette. Half baked for lower lid, Smog for crease, Darkhorse for a line right above my upper eyelashes (in place of eyeliner) and Virgin in my eyebrow arch.

I pretty much wear something different everyday, but if I am in a hurry, I just use Maybelline Color tattoo (cream shadow) in Bad to the Bronze

i loooove ulta's Toast.
unfortunately, the new packaging stinks and the clear cover breaks off sooo easily- thus you have to throw it out- but i love the color....

Thanks everyone. I'll go to sephora today to check out all the colors everyone suggested. I really want to try out the urban decay naked pallet. I'll check out the Mac colors over the weekend since I don't have a Mac store near my job.
