DS is getting ready to be a big brother...
We took DS on his hospital tour today, the Nurse Manager of maternity was excellent with him and gave him a private tour of the entire unit, nursery and birthing rooms. She even showed him a newborn baby, gave him diapers to practice, a quilt to give to his baby  when he comes, and a teddy bear to color and hang on the bassinet in the hospital. Of course DS loved seeing the kitchen and getting a snack! He was so excited and learned to 2 rules he is 'responible' for:
1. Make sure everyone washes their hand before touching baby
2. Always ask mom & dad before holding the baby
Can you tell that he is ready?!

This! I have two stepdaughters and would love to do this for them.
We live in Massachussets (cape cod); it's a small 90 bed community hospital
The tour isnt advertised - i bet you could call and arrange something, that is all I did!
