I'm going to echo what everyone said... it will be worth it. I never got sick my first pregnancy so it was a shock with my second when I was constantly sick. It started just around 5-6 weeks. On a good day, I threw up 3x. Usually it was 5 or 6. I too lost weight. I had to switch midwives due to insurance so I went a while between my first 2 appointments & had to suffer through. It did ease for me around 18 weeks, it never stopped completely, but it got 100% bearable by that point. As much as those 12+ weeks I suffered were awful, I promise, I wouldn't trade it for anything. I hope you get a break soon!

I am going to sing with the choir here but I think that you should work together with DH to find different care for yourself. While I understand that some people have it worse than others.....even miserable.....it sounds like you are seriously concerned about your health and rightly so and it just doesn't seem like giving you one medication that doesn't work is enough of an intervention. Hopefully working together with DH to find a new practice and a new plan will help you come back together a little.

U poor thing!! When i was prego with my dd i felt like complete crap from 4 pm on n i couldnt do anything but take a bath n lie in bed up until week 16. Im so sorry u r dealing with this n if n when i get prego with another child ur story is my fear esp since i have a dd..i dont kno how i would function. I really hope u are getting fluids in u.. 18 lbs is soo much weight. We r all thinking of u n like everyone said when u have ur child in ur arms..u will feel a love like no other..i stare at my daughter n she just melts my heart. You can do it!!!

You need to go to er ( if haven't done so already) and get hydrated. Next find a new dr. This is not normal ms like the other posters said. You shouldn't have to suffer like this and the right dr will help you!!!!

I don't think this sounds like normal morning sickness. I think you need to find a new doc ASAP. You should NOT be allowed to sit here and suffer like this.

You remind me of my pregnancy. I lost 19 lbs. Was sick 22 hrs out of the day. Missed woo much work. I was admitted to l and d for iv hydration and iv anti nausea meds. After that I got a reglan pump. That was my saving grace. My drs office set me up with a homehealthcare agency that set it all up came to my house explained it all. In the future I would get that pump sooner good luck.

hang in there sweetie! Hopefully you are at the ER and getting the care you need! Def change your doctor and go to someone that is more willing to help with your situation!! No one should have to suffer like that! Stay strong! Hope all is better from here on!
