Dresses in the fall...what do you wear on your feet?
Uhhhh! Tall boots are not an option for me. I have skinny calves and I can't find ones that fit me unless I spend over $300 which I don't have right now.
So with a dress what do you wear besides boots, do you wear anything on your legs?
pics and ideas would be great! I don't have alot of time to go out shopping alone.
I have a christening coming up and Ill be 20 weeks pregnant and I have nothing to wear.

Besides boots, I wear heels and bare legs.

depends on the dress but usually flats or heels...no hose-i hate them!
in winter, tights with flats or boots,,which i know you said you don't wear.

I have the opposite problem--big calves. I usually wear tights with either flats, round-toe heels, or ankle booties.

I agree with the ankle boots. Or flats. I even have a pair of looser motorcycle type boots that go to about mid-calf that I do with some dresses.

Tights with booties/ankle boots, regular heels, ballet flats...pretty much any closed-toe shoe. Today I am wearing some wedge heels that kind of look like penny loafers

Most of my fall dresses are sweater dresses so I wear tights and ballet flats or some kind of closed toe heel.
I feel your pain with the boot issue, I'm having problems as well finding ones that will fit my legs right. I have a GREAT dress that would look perfect with a pair of tall brown boots but I'm in love with a pair of Fryes and spending $300+ isn't really in the budget at the moment.
