What do you wear on your feet...
in the winter? assuming it is too cold for flats or bare ankles, too icy for heels, and you aren't a fan of uggs ?

I usually wear boots... under the jean. If I find a good pair, I wear them out because I basically wear them every day.

I would love to hear the answer to this. I struggle with this every winter... mostly what kind of socks to wear with dress shoes and pants....

This is the best pic I can find right now... but I have shoes similar to this. Totally not in style but they work well with long pants in the winter.

well I am a huge fan of uggs  but I wouldn't wear them to work. maybe only on dress down Fridays.
I would wear boots or booties

Boots.
If I'm going to work and it's icy out, I wear my snow boots to and from work (I bought a pair specifically for this purpose) and then I change into boots with high heels once I get to my desk.
If it's the icy on the weekend and I'm going out...it depends. Just running errands, I'm totally causual with low heeled boots. If I'm going out at night with DH...I grab on to his arm for dear life and hobble around in high heels.

Same here. I get a pair in black and brown every fall.
Same here...like 1/2 boots w/a chunky type high heel. I will wear them in the ice too and take my chances
