Main Street Electric Parade

Where is the best spot for viewing? How far in advance should I stake out my spot?

Also, for the Hallowishes fireworks . . . where is the best spot for viewing?

Re: Main Street Electric Parade

We watched right on Main St right by the beginning of Main st.. Lined up about one hr before the parade. People try to squeeze you out but if you are in the front row, it's pretty hard to get squeezed out. Bring a stroller to take up more space and sit down!!! Bring snacks for DC and something to occupy their time.

With the party dates ramping up, there will be fewer opportunities for the MSEP so the crowds will be heavier. You can watch it from pretty much anywhere on the route.

HalloWishes? Front and center of the Castle. Look for spots along the Hub/partner statue.

We went to 2 MNSSHP and the first night we viewed Hallowishes directly in front of the castle. The 2nd night, we landed a table (only 20 minutes before the fireworks started- but I think we got super lucky) where they have the Tomorrowland Dessert Party!

Both were great spots!

We watched from in front of Tony's or in front of teh shops on Main Street. Usually got there an hour before and had a stroller. And even with a stroller people will try to squeeze in a spot. I had one woman hanging over my daughters stroller blocking her view. I don't understand people. I had to tell her to move.

What I don't like about watching in the circle area by Tony's is you only get a close up view or side view since they come out over there.

I prefer on Main directly so you see them coming toward you and then you see them fully pass you in a straight line.

Re: Main Street Electric Parade

In front of Tony's or in front of the train station are pretty cool because you can see the floats from the front coming AT you as they round the turn. I like the hub (by the castle) for any parade or show.

Anywhere on Main Street is good for Hallowishes. it used perimeter fireworks, which look really amazing.

This might be obvious but you won't be able to see MSEP on a party night, and the deeper we get into October the fewer opportunities there are to see MSEP.

As that happens it can get crowded for 2 reasons

1) People without parkhoppers will choose one of these days to go to MK so it will be more crowded all day than a party day

2) People with hoppers will come in just for MSEP and Wishes.

I'd be prepared to stake out a spot an hour beforehand, or 90 minutes if you want the curb.

Last year I had the same situation as i was there when there were a lot of MVMCP and even lining up an hour and 15 minutes early I was not on the curb (had to just slip in behind a stroller), and people were just STREAMING into the park during that last hour before the parade.

Thanks Jen. I have my MSEP & party nights all worked out - I just want to make sure I have a good view.
