before O it can be up to a week or it can only be a day. It really depends on you. After you O, your CM typically dries up but you still may have some residual EWCM after. It really can vary cycle to cycle and person to person.

Was just asking because I had ewcm yesterday and got my positive opk this morning with fmu. So I'm assuming o will be today or tomorrow but just wasn't sure when I posted last night if yesterday's opk had been wrong. I had an awful batch and they were screwy this month!
