We asked them last week (I am almost 38 weeks and the christening is scheduled for January). With my DD we definitely asked before she was born too.

I think my sister just started referring to herself as the godmother... so we didn't actually have to tell her at all  ... as for the godfather we haven't formally picked anyone. We're hoping her boyfriend proposes because then we would just have them as a couple... if not we'll ask one of my brothers as it gets closer.

before i was pregnant lol only the god mother. She is my cousin and we always talked about when we have kids we would be each others god parents. this time around we are having a hard time picking god parents so once we figure it out we will tell them right away.

We asked them while I am still pregnant. BIL is going to be the Godfather but he isn't going to be home when the baby is born because he got a job with Royal Caribbean and he will be away from October - May. One of my girlfriends is going to be the Godmother and I asked her already.

DS is 2 months old and we haven't asked yet. We aren't baptizing him until the Spring so we will prob ask around Christmas time.

My brother knew he was the godfather before i was even pregnant lol...we havent decided on a godmother yet
For DS number 1 we asked about halfway thru the pregnanacy
