OMG OMG OMG
I think we might have a tooth! She just woke up from her nap and I see a white dot on her gums where it has been swollen for MONTHS!
That would probably explain why she woke up 2 times in the middle of the night last night.
I've been waiting for this for months and now I can't believe it!!!

she is 10.5 months so this is a long time coming!!
I just felt it and it feels smooth but it definatly looks like there is a tooth under a thin layer of gum --- so it should break the gums soon, I am thinking!!

I called my sister and she's saying that it can't be a tooth because her DR said that you don't get just one spot -- likea corner, that you'd see the whole line of the tooth.
She said it's probably a gum pimple.

I hope it is a tooth for your sake!!
From what your sister said - - Kevin would get this white dot on his gums (thru the swelling) and about 1-2 weeks from that the tooth would appear like a line....the dot would come and go during that two weeks....

If it's not a tooth, I have heard the longer the teeth stay in, the healthier they'll be! (Could just be a mith)

Well, that's probably true. I was a VERY late teether. According to my mom I didn't get my first tooth until I was 15 months old --- and I am now almost 28 and have never had a cavity in my life.
