EWCM question
Does the presence of ewcm mean we are ovulating or just getting ready to? If there is none present, does the sperm still last after bd? Is it a concern if we don't see any at all or very little for one cycle, is that a concern? I have had it plenty of.times before but of course when you look for it you can't find it.

I think it just means that your body is getting ready to O.
I've heard about people taking robutussin a few days before they're going to O to loosen it up so that its a little more "present".
I don't think it really should affect you much that there isn't alot visible, sometimes it just is caught up in the cervix.

If you get really concerned about it, buy preseed. It is a TTC friendly lubricant that is the perfect medium for DH's swimmers. It comes with an applicator and (TMI) you insert a little near your cervix. In case you don't have a lot of ewcm, it helps you out.

Oh wow. I never even thought of preseed. I guess it helps the sperm potency?

In order for the swimmers to meet the egg they have to have the right environment to swim through. That's why we make ewcm. If you are someone who doesn't make a lot or enough of it, then you can use preseed. It mimics our own body's cm.
