what are you doing with your DC when you are far along in your pregnancy?

I am 38 weeks pregnant and can hardly walk. My dd is 5 and i just dont know what to do with her. I feel awful. what are you guys doing with your older ones

I gave birth last week and my son is going to be five next month so I can relate. My husband went back to work this week and I was home alone with him and the baby. If I didn't have family nearby I would have gone bananas. My son was climbing walls for the one half of day that he was with me lol! Everyone pitched in and is on call everyday to get out of the house and do something with him. You can't possibly do it but if you have family I would ask that they pick her up and maybe get her out of the house for a few house to do something fun. School starts next week so its not long before they're occuppied and happy. Good luck

I'm almost 39 weeks and get so exhausted! DD is 5, and I feel so bad for her because we haven't been doing much of anything. She's getting stir crazy!

Today, I took her to the park, to lunch, and to Toys R Us for her to use a gift card that she got for her birthday.

We were gone for 2 hours at the most- and holy crap, I'm soooooooo exhausted.

My DH is off now for awhile until the baby comes, and I'm so hoping that he'll take her for some daddy/daughter dates between now and when school starts.

what are you doing with your DC when you are far along in your pregnancy?

Mine's 20 months and she gets to watch a lot more Blue's Clues than daddy wants... she's also been playing with my ipad for hours. Today I pulled out the ball pit balls (we don't actually have a ball pit) and she had fun throwing them all over the room.
