Just a funny story I thought I would share...
So I went in for my HSG on Monday. I was definitely nervous because I wasn't sure what they were going to find. Its always the not knowing.
So I'm in the hospital gown waiting for the Dr. just kinda hanging out. The assistant is standing there next to me. When the dr comes in very professional and serious. He runs through the procedure with me and asks if I have any questions, then proceeds to "prep" for the exam.
First thing he does is put on a headband flashlight like this:
So I look at him and kinda giggling to myself which I'm trying to cover up and its only making me laugh harder. I'm thinking it was a combination of nerves and just the thought that he looked like he was prepping to "mine" in my vagine. Then he puts the rubber gloves on and pulls up to his elbows and I had to turn away because I was seriously about to lose it.
So this is me, by myself, cracking up at my very serious and very professional dr. wearing a headlamp and rubber gloves as my legs are spread open and he's about to stick a rubber tube up my hoohah. Meanwhile, I keep thinking that if I don't stop laughing, I'm going to end up peeing or farting at this guy.
And I want to be someone's mother?!  
Thank goodness everything was ok, but I figured I would share with you ladies because I'm sure you can understand.

LMAO!!! This made me laugh! I'm sitting here at my desk giggling. When I had my HSG the Dr did not have a "miners cap"..lol.
This is too funny not to share!!!!

LOL Sometimes all you can do is laugh!
Its funny that your Drs did not use the miner's cap.
Now I'm self conscious. LOL Is my vagina that cavernous??

Ahh that brings back memories. I had a HSG last month and I don't know if I will ever look at a headband flashlight again.
I saw a commercial the other day for one of those reading lights you put on your head so your partner can sleep, and immediately was brought back. It leaves an impression.
