Crashing for OB/GYN reccs
Hi Everyone!
DH and I are planning to TTC soon and I need a little guidance...
I live in Queens, but I'm more than willing to travel to LI or Manhattan for a really good doctor. I don't know which hospital I want to deliver at because I'm really not familiar with the ones in LI/NYC. The only two that I have heard good things about are LIJ and Mt. Sinai.
Please share the name of your doctor and which hospital they are affiliated with. TIA

Try Dr.Clifford Goldstein. He is with LIJ New Hyde Park. I really liked his office, minimal wait times. His office is in Great Neck.

I love Dr. Trongone. His office is in Manhasset and he is affiliated with NSUH.

I always recommend Dr Herman at Elite Women's Health Care. Office is in Lake Success and they deliver at LIJ-Katz women's hospital.

My practice is probably too far for you but I will tell you about them anyway. I recommend all of the OBs at Stony Brook Gyn/OB (Drs. Lochner, O'Keefe, Porte and Welischar). They deliver at Stony Brook, which has AMAZING L&D and maternity units. But you might not want to travel all the way there on D-Day! Anyway, good luck TTC!

We're giving birth at Lenox Hill on the UES and we see Dr. Plakogiannis. He has two offices one on E95th street and one on E22nd st (only sees patients on Thursdays at this location). He came highly recommended by my GYN and we love him

i almost went to him, I wish I had ,, he was highly recommended by few women I know. All his patients love him .

North Shore OBGYN in Bayside. I see Dr. Randi Rothstein...she's the BEST! (And I also had a great experience with the other 4 doctors there too!) They deliver at North Shore.

Here! I went here for years until I moved too far away. They are great. My only complaint is the wait.

Where do you work? Do you want a doctor/hospital convenient to work or home? I see Dr. Levine in Mineola. I will be delivering at Winthrop.

That was my original OB/GYN, but I had to switch because they said Dr. P only sees patients up till 2pm! Are you able to see him after work hours? They kept giving me to Hudes/Lowder, and I wasn't crazy about her bedside manner.
