Dr. Scholl of North Shore
Are any of you patients of his? I was supposed to see Dr. Braverman but he will not be financially affordable for us. I just mad an appointment to see Dr. Scholl September 10th. I would appreciate any good/bad thoughts about him!

Re: Dr. Scholl of North Shore
We had an IVF consult w/ him (was a patient of Rosenfeld at the time). We did not like him at all and basically ran from NSUH after the meeting with him. I found him to be very negative and down right rude. He went so far as to yell at me when I disagreed with something he wanted me to do. I yelled back!

Re: Dr. Scholl of North Shore
I was a Dr. Scull patient. I personally wouldn't recommend him. I had a fresh cycle and 3 FEAT all negative beta's. When I saw him for my followup after my last failed transfer...he Recommended that I do a fresh one right away but did not want to change the protocol at all. I then switched to a different practice who changed my protocol before I even explained the previous protocol. For example when I suggested baby aspirin or lovenox since I have a clotting disorder he said no not needed even though I was on both during my last 2 pregnancies. When I saw my new RE he stated right upfront that I will be on baby aspirin and start lovenox once we conceive. Also a z-pack for any inflammation which may affect implantation.

I was a patient of Dr. Scholl for over a year before I got pregnant in May. He was ok. Not exactly the warmest person. Very clinical. Only good thing was that he had early appts b4 work.

Sometimes you'll need to see him for monitoring. I thought he was funny and nice, but he never did an iui or anything with me, just monitoring. You may love Dr Hershlag and Dr. Mullins. Good luck

I loved Dr Mullin at NS... she was great. I saw Dr Scholl once for a monitoring appt and was not impressed by him or his personality. I have heard great things about Hershlag and a friend of mine is seeing Chu (I think that is her name) and she likes her!

Re: Dr. Scholl of North Shore
I have been a patient of his for several years had a successful ivf which resulted in DS then two other pregnancies which were miscarried due to chromosome issues he is stoic which I appreciate. Dr rauch is more warm and fuzzy. I love all the clinical staff there I've gone thru some hard times and they've been very supportive

I'm a patient of Hershlag and I like him a lot. Also a huge fan of Cohen and Mullins. Not so much of Scholl, who's sort of brusque and a bit rough with the u/s wand. The IVF nurses there are great, as is the billing staff.

I did not know that Dr. Brenner still had offices in Lake Success...I thought he had moved to Melville and that is too far for me to travel. I used him for dd and he was very nice. Thanks for this info I will find the number!

Re: Dr. Scholl of North Shore
I worked with him back in 2008 which resulted in the pregnancy though IVF of my firs DS. I absolutely loved him & dr. Chu. I met with all their doctors on occasion for monitoring & never found Dr. scholl to be very clinical or downgrading. He was super friendly & alway willing to comfort if needed.

Dr. Scholl of North Shore
I'm currently seing dr scholl no complains about him so far. I've done one IUI with him wich did not worked. Dh numbers is very low. Dh and I decided to move on to IVF and not spend any more money with IUI since we have no insurance. We saw Dr Scholl last Friday (10/14/12) and he did explained everything that we asked. We are going to start our first ivf cicle in about 2 weeks. I do like Dr scholl, maybe because I have a friend who is a GYN wich knows him, and she only said great things about him. Is he a little co ld as a person??? Yes, but as long as he knows what he is doing I'm fine with it. Also, for those who are self paying for the ivf treatment i came across a wes site from Canada that sells and deliver the meds here on US for a fraction of the price. IVFMEDS.COM I read about a lady that payd less than $1000 on her meds and if she have bought it from a pharmacy here on US it would have cost her more than $3000, so check out their reviews as i did. Best lock for all of you. (please excuse my English)
