Car Seat Installation question
DH and I were just trying out installing the car seat. I have an '09 Nissan and the latches are on the door side and not the middle. my brother has a Honda and I know his latches are in the middle, but we recently went car shopping for a new Toyota and we noticed that the latches were also on the sides. My sister said that the car seat belongs in the middle. Is anyone else's car seat latch located on the sides and not the middle?

My parents have a brand new Altima and the car manual says car seat should be installed on the side. We have a Taurus and ours is in the middle. From what I understand, it is not a blanket statement that the middle is safest, it depends on the car.
