DD HATES tummy time - HELP!
DD is 10.5 weeks old and has a meltdown every time I do tummy time with her. On a good day MAYBE she'll last 5 minutes before throwing a fit. It's been this way for a few weeks now. Any suggestions from moms whose DC hated tummy time?

Just keep doing it a few times a day. Both my twins hated it. Just try to make it as fun as possible

DD HATES tummy time - HELP!
DS hates it too. But even a couple of minutes at a time is something. I put him on the activity mat with his toys and sometimes I use a mirror because he loves mirrors. I found what works best is if I lay on the floor next to him and just talk to him. Lately he'll even look up at me and smile. Don't give up, she'll get the hang of it!

DD HATES tummy time - HELP!
Don't worry if they cry and lose it after a few minutes. They will eventually get used to it when they start to realize they can life their head up and get a different perspective of the world!
Do it in 5 min intervals a couple times a day even if they don't like it. Or try different ways. I used the boppy as well as sometimes laid DD on my chest.

DS hated tummy time and I never forced the issue. He is 7 months now and has great head control. Is crawling, pulling up and so close to walking so it didn't slow him down one bit.
DS was so colicy that there was no way I was goign to make him cry by doing tummy time during the very few times he wasn't crying.

Same here. And reflux made putting him on his stomach difficult because it would force him to spit up. He is now 13 months and walking and all over the place. He did crawl at 11 months and eventually after the reflux went away around 6/7 months, we put him on his stomach more.
