Shower location ideas ....
i was taking a look at shower locations and came up with the following list:
Library Cafe in Farmingdale Sergio's in Massapequa Bella Napoli in Farmingdale Elisa's Ristorante Cafe in N Bellmore
has anybody been to any of these places? was it good / bad? any info would be appreciated.
alternatively, if somebody has other suggestions, please send them my way. My only thing is that I don't want to pay $25 pp after tax and tip (so around $20-ish total per person)
Oh, and i'll probably have about 20-25 people.
Thanks!
ETA: i prefer Nassau County, but would consider Suffolk as long as it's not too far east.

I had mine at Bulldog in Amityville (same owners as Library). THe food was great as leftovers.....I was in the hospital for my shower. My DH said the shower was nice and everythign went well.
I eat at Library all the time and the food is good.

Re: Shower location ideas ....
our rehearsal dinner was at sergios, i know the price is really good, however i have some off the boat italian relatives who did not like the food, (i thought it was ok though). I went to a baby shower at elisa's, that was ok as well...
Have you looked into Paddy's Loft in massapequa? My shower was there, for lunch there is a $21pp package that comes with soda and a bowl of champagne punch, salad, choice of 4 entrees and a dessert selection (if you want cake you have to pay extra)... everything was good! ETA: I had to guarantee 35 people though..
I also looked at Runyon's in Seaford which required a smaller minimum and the price was cheaper so that could be an option, although i haven't eaten there.

I love the Library... but its not that large, are you having a small shower?
Paddy's Loft is definitely another good option.
Palmer's in Farmingdale.

Library, Bulldog, Maxwells and the other Lessings are listed on their site. I think they ranged from $24-$34pp but some were just 3 hr parties as opposed to 4.
We had our eparty at Sergios about 5 yrs ago and it was only about $18pp. The food and service were good, but the place it kind of tired looking.

If your looking in Farmingdale you should check out Absolutely Mario on Allen Blvd, I'm not sure of the price but the food is great and I'm sure the owner will work with you he's really nice. We've done Holiday parties for work there and they've always done a nice job.

Re: Shower location ideas ....
My mom had my shower at B.K. Sweeneys is Bethpage and said it was about 21PP.
DH and I were looking for places for DD's baptism and ate at both Sergios and Elisa's. Sergios food was much better IMO but Elisa's has great reviews - maybe it was an off night or something. In both places the owners were really nice. We also looked at Passione in Carle Place - the food was pretty good and the room is awesome. Their price was too high for us though (39.95pp)
We tried and eventually booked Puglia's in Garden City and the price is $29pp for the buffet. The food is the best we found and the room is beautiful.

Re: Shower location ideas ....
I went to a baby shower at the Library upstairs it was ok, brunch style on sunday. It was ok food for brunch. Nothing great. Elises I had my bridal shower at and I really like them. I had the whole room but I think you need to guarantee 40 people for that or they share the room. Food is good and he there's different priced menus
I just had my baby shower at Hemingways. They were great ER had the loft area. Service was great and they do Sunday brunch also. They have 2 rooms Hth

The Library is nice but small, the have a space upstairs but you can still hear what is going on down below since it's not closed off.
