When are you supposed to stop sleeping on your back?
I've heard varying opinions and was wondering what you all were told. I've read not until the second tri-mester but have also found people who said not until the third tri-mester.

When are you supposed to stop sleeping on your back?
i've been wondering the same thing, but i think you can continue to sleep any way you want as long as its still comfortable. your body will let you know when enough is enough in a particular position

With my DD I slept on my back the whole time (I tried to sleep on my sides but always ended up on my back)...my dr. said it was fine. I usually sleep on my back now too (I am 27 weeks).

When are you supposed to stop sleeping on your back?
Dr said sleeping on the side is better because it means better circulation for you (and therefore for Baby too). She told me this at my 24 week appointment but only because i specifically asked about it.

One of the pregnancy books I'm reading said not past 18 weeks. I try every night to fall asleep on my side and I always wake up on my back :(

I still catch myself on my back at times and i'm 35 weeks... your body will wake you up if you get uncomfy though, i find this is true for me and then i roll over to my side.

When are you supposed to stop sleeping on your back?
I was told by my OB I can sleep in any position that doesn't hurt (ha as if there is any) and as long as I don't feel short of breath. He said sleeping on my back is fine.

My dr said to sleep however I am comfortable but keep my breathing in check. I'm 38 wks & 5 days and I change positions throughout the night so my body just know when I need to move. If I am on my back and wake up breathing a bit shallow, I just roll to the left. With all the things we can and will stress over, I wouldnt go to crazy over this one. Like I said, our bodies know what we need.

two weeks after i got my bfp i started sleeping on my side. im a stomach and back sleeper so i wanted to get myself use to it ASAP

Perfect thanks! I start off on my side but wake up on my back and didn't know how serious the circulation cut off thing was with back sleeping. I've always been a stomach/back sleeper, I get so uncomfortable on my side and find my arms always fall asleep.

I was told 20 weeks. I'm a huge back sleeper though, so even when I start off on my side, I end up on my back.

I have never been able to sleep on my back. I feel like I can't breathe, and can only sleep on my side.

I believe at 28 weeks I stopped sleaping on my back b/c I couldn't breath.
