Don't give up hope yet......with this pregnancy, my dates were off a week from LMP, my progesterone was low- even with suppositories. It was slow growing the first three sonos and I'm going to be 23 weeks tomorrow with what appears to be a healthy baby girl! My ob tends to be an alarmist (which I love bc he stays on top of things), but I wouldn't stop the progesterone- like you said that baby has a heartbeat and us fighting! Hang tight....oh and at what would have been 6w4d for me- there was no hb.....wasn't until 7w4d that it was blinking away! Will kick up the prayers for you!

Hang in there. Some drs are very doom and gloom. While Im sure that there's reason to be cautious, I wouldnt count this little one out just yet.

I agree completely! I think your doctor is CRAZY for even remotely suggesting a d&c right now. Keep taking your meds and let nature run its course. Do not let any doctor bully you into doing anything you don't want to! Hugs!!!

I totally agree with this! As someone who has had two d&c but bith because baby was no longer alive......I would never have been able to agree to a procedure if the babies heart was still beating
Get a second opinion!!!
Baby grew, saw a heart beat and prog went up. Co tinge taking the supplements and call another dr asap

PLEASE do not stop the progesterone and get a second opinion. any doctor that recommends a d&c for a baby with a heartbeat and increasing numbers is not the kind of doctor you want to stay with.
if your progesterone is increasing that is a good sign.
yes, there are a few other signs that are not so good.
but you have a baby with a heartbeat, there is no better sign than that.
you cannot predict the future. babys that have normal heartbeats and measure ahead still miscarry, and babys whose stats are behind at the beginning make wonderful children.
there is not sugar coating, it can go either way. but so can ANY pregnancy. please find a new doctor, stay on the meds, good luck, and most of all stay hopeful!!!!

odnt stop taking it.. my baby was also a slow grower adn that early i was measuring 3-4 days behind, and my progesteron plummeted from 14 to 7.. put on suppositories and thrived. iam 39 weeks, and am scheduled to be induced on sunday.. and nowbaby is measuring a week ahead. The placenta doesnt take over until the end of the first trimester, so it is your body.. well your body needs to get used to being pregnant..so there mr doctor.. LOL..ive lost my miind sorry..

i am still taking the prog. feeling so sad. but trying to keep hope. thinking about getting that second opinion, but maybe waiting until the end of next week.
