is she still contagious?

DD was diagnosed with Coxsackie Monday night. She had a fever starting Sunday afternoon. She has not had a fever for at least 48 hours and is sleeping and eating fine again. She is back to her old self! She still has blisters on the bottoms of her feet and some sores around her mouth, but they are healing. Is she still contagious? I've been reading online and checking all of my books but it doesn't say anything about that. I will be keeping both girls away from other kids and at home tomorrow to be safe and will call the ped on monday to see what they say

I would say she's fine. I remember reading somewhere 48 hrs fever free and as long as they're behaving like themselves they're not considered contagious.

I think if she still has the blisters she is contagious. Also, I think coxsackie stays in the feces for about a month.

When my twins had it my ped said they were contagious until the blisters were healed
