I've been wanting to post, but been too superstitious . . .
We signed contracts last night to buy a house!!!!!!!
I'm feeling SO many emotions right now!
     
We are closing on/about Aug 15! Just what we wanted, before school starts!!!!!!
This is our first house and so far all the sacrifices we have made have been SO worth it.
March of 2011 we moved in with MIL with the hopes of buying and moving in before DS starts Kindergarten. And it's happening!!!!!!!!!

Congrats!!
I don't know how far you are moving from where you live now, but from my experience school districts usually let a child start the year where you are buying the home if you show them your contract with your on or about date.
When we were buying I went to the district (Levittown) and they allowed me to register DD by showing my contract. I had to show them the deed after we closed, and utility bills within 2 months after that.
I just wanted to let you know this incase your closing gets pushed back at all!!

Thank you for sharing! I actually called the district today and was told what info I need to register and their hours. I am hopin to get there next week, and see how it goes!!!
