Anyone else have long cycles?
I'm so frustrated. I just had an appointment with my RE and no change in my eggs from last week. None have matured. Last month I was 17 days late. I had my blood work done. My RE said if my levels are ok then he'll put me on Clomid. I have the script. I'm hoping I can start taking it ASAP. I just wish I had a normal cycle, it would be a lot easier. Also, a lot less visits at the RE.
Sorry I'm feeling kinda down today.

I do. Usually my cycle is 44 days but last month it was 35. I know it's harder to track but for this cycle we are using the ov watch and so far it works good. No guesswork because it tells you your fertile days 1-4 than your ov day. So we shall see what happens.

i would not get my period or get it every 70 days
i wish i was one of those 28 day cycle girls!
i will say metformin regulated them a bit

Yes! My cycles were anywhere from 40-90 days at any given time. I was put on clomid, monitored and given an HCG trigger to make me O. It helped shorten them to around 30 days!

i'm glad my RE prescribed Clomid. it looks like it will make me more regular. i started it last night.

I do. I have to take provera every 3 months because I never get AF. It sucksssss. I'll be taking Clomid next month after I get AF, so I'm hoping this helps shorten it as well as help me ovulate

do you have PCOS?
good luck with clomid but don't expect it to be a miracle drug in terms of suddenly making you have a normal cycle length. for me it didn't do anything. for some people it works but IMO you need to know the reason for your long cycle before the doctor can come up with a proper protocol for treating it - which is why clomid is a good start for general issues but not a miracle drug for all. good luck!
