"No Soliticing" signs? Do they work?
We seem to get a lot of solicitors at our home/in our neighborhood and I was considering a sign.
Think it will make a difference?

I was having a huge issue with solicitors, so I got a sign (it has our house # with "no soliciting" underneath)...haven't had an issue since!

I've heard that "No Trespassing" signs are effective. I know some people in the TOH that have these signs on their property and apparently it does deter trespassers.

I was just considering the same thing. I've had 5 people in the last 1 1/2 weeks, and 2 of them around 9pm!!! I was thinking of getting some kind of sign made that i could hang rather than stick on somewhere. It's so annoying!!!

We do have one on our door at the bottom sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't!!! It is so annoying!!!

OMG I need one of these signs. I have someone come at least 3x a week. VERY FRUSTRATING. My dogs go nuts and it's always the same thing... "we are doing work in your area and are offering free estimates blah blah blah blah and No thank you isn't even enough! Pushy Pushy Pushy!!!! I've been quite nasty lately and allow my rottweiler to get all vicious at the door!

We got sick of solicitors and finally put a little sign near our doorbell a couple months ago. So far, it seems to be working. I got the idea from DH's grandparents. They've had a sign up for years.

I have a "Beware of Guard Dog" sign in the corner of my front window. I have a labrador retriever. 
I haven't had anyone knock on my door since I displayed it.

Yeah, I was researching it and I think No Trespassing or Private Property seems to have more legal ramifications.

I taped a small sign on my door that reads:
"please do not knock on the door the baby is sleeping".
It works like a charm
