HERBAL TEA?
I found this amazing tea store in the walt whitman mall and hubby and I are sloooowly trying to get off of caffeine. Anyone know of any herbal teas that are supposed to help fertility? I figured I would start here before I google it!

Re: HERBAL TEA?
This has nothing to do with fertility, but Bigelow has a French Vanilla tea that tastes just like a cookie with mile and sugar. That definitely helped me kick the coffee habit.

Thanks Ladies!
And I do believe that herbs and vitamins can have a great impact on fertility and overall health. We all take a ton of vitamins and herbs to prime our bodies for carrying a healthy baby. Throughout pregnancy we take and avoid certain herbs and supplements, so why would this have nothing to do with fertlity. I am just trying to go the natural route before the medical route and I firmly believe in the benefits of teas.

The Art of Health Bulletin This Month's Topic: Fertility
As you are probably aware, many couples are finding it very difficult to conceive a child or carry it to full term. In fact, it is estimated that one in every six heterosexual couples in the United States today are infertile. This is a shockingly high number. The shock of the number is nothing compared to the grief experienced by these couples when they discover that they are the one out of six.
The statistics around fertility in this country do not improve much after conception. At least one pregnancy in five miscarries, one baby in ten is premature or small for dates, one baby in 30 has a congenital defect, and children increasingly suffer from allergies, asthma, chronic immune dysfunction, and behavioral disorders.
Preconception Care: Diet Counts! The unfortunate statistics listed above showing difficulty conceiving, difficulty maintaining a pregnancy, and difficulty producing a healthy child, illustrate the importance of preconception care. Preconception care provides all the factors necessary to produce healthy eggs and sperm and to support fetal development.
If you are planning to conceive a child, it is a good idea to begin preconception care one year in advance of anticipated conception. During this time it is important to focus on optimal nutrition. This means taking in as many nutrient dense foods as possible and minimizing food and substances that have the potential to harm.
When a couple comes in to my office who are planning to conceive in the near future I usually begin by having them do a cleansing or detoxification program. This involves a nutrient dense diet, the avoidance of refined sugar and flour, caffeine, nicotine and alcohol. It also includes herbal and nutritional support which are crucial elements in making the process manageable and effective. The cleansing program is followed with herbal and nutritional support to enhance fertility.
I ordered this:
Perfect Tea for Pregnancy Deep Nourishment is an herbal tea that is cleansing and nourishing and has special benefits for women during preconception, pregnancy, and while breast feeding. The tea contains deeply nourishing green plants such as dandelion, alfalfa, nettle, skullcap, and red raspberry leaf. These plants are full of protein, vitamins and minerals, and support cleansing through the urinary tract. Red raspberry leaf specifically strengthens the uterus and promotes the production of breast milk.
Mabey it will work!
This is JMO since I am no doctor or anything.
I will try the other tea too though, it sounds yummy!
