My obgyn's office is filled with aholes

So as most of you know in April when I was supposed to have my iui done they threw out my dh's sample and then told me they saw something in my uterus which turned out to be nothing. Saw 2nd dr and was given a 3 month prescription of clomid and told to refill and take it again if af showed. Went in for a follow-up yesterday and met with a 3rd dr who didn't understand what I was there for. After an hour and me telling 5 people that I have af and I started my next round of clomid the original iui dr comes in to reprimand me for starting another round of clomid without having a sono first to make sure I don't have cysts on my ovaries. Then she had the gall to say oh we talked last month about you seeing a specialist. Dh LOST it. I was never told to come in for another sono, never told about possible cysts, never talked about seeing a specialist and the other drs didn't know that dr #2 gave me a 3 month prescription. I understand they are not a specialist but come on how hard is it to read my chart. Then I'm trying to leave and was told by one receptionist that I don't have to pay a copay for follow-ups but then was charged $30 bc I saw a dr. I hope they get me pg so I don't have to go to the RE in July but they are such morons in this office I'm surprised they know what hole to put it in. I'm not even going into the argument I had with the records person bc I needed copies of everything sent over to the REs office and I know how slow they are. Oh and when I asked about hormonal testing dr 3 had to go ask dr 1 about it.

Sorry for complaining constantly on here but dh and I have agreed not to talk about it with others anymore bc we are both getting stressed out with everyone asking every month if we are pg.

Wow. Sounds like they are really incompetent. I would run as far as possible from that office. When you do get pregnant, you will be at the OB a lot and you don't need that kind of stress.

Once you leave, if it were me I would write a long letter with every detail exactly stating this is the reason your are leaving and it is unacceptable to have a doctor's office run this way. Sorry you have to deal with those idiots.

You should not be seeing your Ob/gyn for fertility treatments if they are not monitoring you.

I did IUIs with my obgyn but was closely monitored.

Never start a new cycle of clomid without being checked.

I would not do another cycle with them and go to an RE

I would stop going there...you should not start clomid w/o being checked first...my gyn did that and I regret not going to an RE sooner

If you can't see an RE sooner, I would switch to a different obgyn practice they sound really incompetent!

Since my 2nd iui has to be done this week. I'm unfortunately stuck. I am going to switch and going to write a long complaint letter. This is a stressful time enough without all the bs.

before i saw a RE my obgyn also gave me a script for 6 months worth of clomid! but from my own research i read i shouldnt be on the same dosage for that long...obviously its not working. So i personally made the decision to only do it for 3 months then moved on to a RE.

During those 3 months i was never told to come in to get checked for cysts or was i ever told to come in before starting the next month for any kind of monitoring!

honestly.. as soon as you said that they threw out your DH's sample.. i would have RUN from that office and into an REs office. i know you said you have to wait til July, but have you tried calling other places to see if you can get an appointment sooner? maybe around the same time as your next AF would be due so that if this cycle is a bust then you dont have to go back to the ob/gyn again next cycle?

also i thought you said you had AF?? unless you have the shortest cycle ever, why would they do an IUI this week (which im going to guess means next week since its friday?)
