Suffolk OBGYN -Port jefferson office

Did anyone get a sono their last few weeks of pregnancy.. I heard this office does not give one. I would like to know the growth wieght and such but I am sure they wont do it..

Has anyone gotten this done at the PJ office?

They may not give one b/c they don't feel it is necessary. Or possibly your insurance doesn't cover one later in pregnancy unless there is a reason.

I had a growth sono around 35 weeks b/c DS was measuring small, it caused me so much anxiety, I would have preferred not to have one honestly.

My cousin had one at 36weeks there-I just had my 36week appointment and I did not but I'm not sure if that is b/c I had one at 30 weeks b/c they thought the baby might have been breech.

They are giving me one in 2 weeks, then another 2 weeks after that. They weren't supposed to, but it's because the baby is so large they want to monitor him to see when to pull him out before he rips me to shreds!

I haven't had one since 20 wks and was told unless it's needed i won't get another one. Next time i see her she will be here!!

thanks ladies just making sure. i guess everything is fine than.. as the days get closer i worry more and more..
