Siding
Who did yours? Were you satisfied with the work? Price? How long did it take? Did they do windows/roof as well? We will soon need all 3, so any suggestions would be much appreciated.
We have a 973 sq ft ranch...any idea on pricing that I should expect?

I just got a price on my house, we need 34 square and for vinyl shakes they charge (installed) 600. a square --20,400!
I think I'd rather have my husband do it! Vinyl siding is alot cheaper. Ceader shakes are pricey too but seems the vinyl shakes cost the most right now.

My house is a colonial and was quoted $13000 for cedar siding but that did not include the back of my house (has vinyl). We asked about vinyl instead and that would have been more.
We only had one side done which was done in 2 days.
MY SIL used HD and had the vinyl that looks like cedar put on and they put the wrong color on but they came back and replaced it no problem. She uses their credit card for her purchases when it is interest free.
